BSG Multisport

BSG believes that the sport of triathlon can be used to bridge the gap between the diverse social and economic classes within South Africa. LEAP Science and Maths School aims to transform educationally disadvantaged communities in South Africa through mathematics and science-focused education initiatives.

We are really excited that we have the opportunity to surpass the amount collected for LEAP through last year's BSG Energade TriSeries. So for this year's series, you will have the opportunity to help raise funds for LEAP through requesting your network of friends, colleagues and family to SPONSOR your participation in the BSG Energade TriSeries by pledging funds on your behalf. If each athlete participating in 2011 raises just R150, the Multisport community would be contributing R1,000,000 towards building a new school for LEAP.

To date, R600 has been contributed towards our goal of raising R1,000,000 to help build the new LEAP Science and Maths school.

We are also delighted to announce that FIRST ASCENT has come on board as the official associate partner for this MyPledge initiative.   We have added functionality right here in this MyPledge menu item, so you can start the process of encouraging your personal network to collect funds for this vital cause. There is also a MyPledge Leader Board which show cases triathletes who are topping the charts in terms of funds raised.

As an incentive to encourage all of our athletes to help raise funds by being sponsored, there are really cool First Ascent garments available as prizes, for athletes who surpass fund target levels.
