2012 BSG Elite Team

At BSG, we believe in being a proactive force for positive change, making a difference in everything we do.

We feel inspired by motivating others to experience the feeling of being healthy and happy. We are proud to support a team of Elite athletes. It’s a part of who we are and why we do the things we do: unlocking potential, accelerating performance.

The BSG Elite Triathlon Team is made up of 7 world-class athletes. BSG is proud to announce that 3 of the BSG Elite team members competed at the 2012 London Olympics!

BSG Elite team athletes Richard Murray and Kate Roberts represented South Africa, while fellow teammate Chris Felgate represented Zimbabwe at the 2012 Olympic Games. This was Chris and Kate’s second appearance at the Olympics as both athletes previously participated at the Beijing Games in 2008. Click here to read more about our Olympians.

These determined athletes will be competing locally in the BSG Triseries, Joburg City Triseries, the Momentum I-Flex Duathlon Series as well as the 2012 South Africa and All Africa Championships. In addition members of the team will also be racing internationally in European Cup and Championship events, 11 Global International Triathlons, as well as World Cup and World Championship races.

To really make a difference in the sport, BSG established a BSG Development Squad (athletes aged between 12-14 years) to bolster potential professional triathletes. Watch out for these young stars!
