BSG and Triathlon

BSG has been actively involved with the sport of triathlon through sponsoring the well-known BSG Energade Triseries for the past four years. During this time BSG has invested significantly in the growth of the sport with participation in the Triseries increasing by 44% (3,952 race participants in 2007 to 5,690 race participants in 2011). BSG believes that there is still significant potential to be unlocked through this wonderful sporting platform and is delighted to announce that we have secured full ownership rights from 2012 for the Triseries: officially known as “The BSG Triseries”.
Greg Reis, CEO of BSG, says, “This change in ownership ushers in a new era, which will build on the great foundation laid by Energade over their 15 year history with the Triseries. BSG aims to accelerate both the growth of and the participation in the sport of triathlon. Our vision for the Triseries remains constant – making healthy outdoor living fun for all members of the family and addressing our country’s dire need to support the education of our nation’s children”.

BSG’s Involvement
BSG is passionate about being a proactive force for positive change, making a difference in everything we do. As an IT professional services company, BSG partners with clients to unlock their potential and accelerate their performance through consulting services and software development. BSG uses the Triseries as a platform to make a difference: to raise funds for the LEAP Science and Maths School and to motivate others to be happy and healthy.
“We’re really excited about the potential that remains untapped. BSG will continue to invest to achieve this vision – to really use the Triseries as a platform to create positive change in lives of everyone who is touched by this event in some way,” says Greg Reis, CEO of BSG. “BSG will continue to apply our passion for positive change with the Triseries.” Investments include professional event management; improved online entry processes; regular athlete communications, utilising social media; and overall race-day format enhancements to ensure enjoyable and safe racing for all involved. The Triseries really is a race that is accessible, do-able and fun, especially as a welcome mat for first-time triathletes.
